Conduct Disorder Program for Boys and Girls

Youth with emotional and behavioral problems are provided an opportunity to learn new skills for successful living.  Emphasis is placed on changing self- defeating thinking and behaviors through providing repeated opportunities for success and new learning.  The youth are assigned to treatment groups according to individual needs.  Group, family, and individual therapy focus on healthy growth experiences.  The therapeutic milieu is fully integrated with clinical and educational services and provides mentoring, teaching, and coaching to help the residents in achieving a resolution to their problems.

The design of the program is intended to provide repetitive learning scenarios with increasing levels of freedom and privileges.  Residents are expected to develop leadership skills within a peer culture that is supportive of individual growth and development.
