Career Opportunities

Pueblo’s pre-eminent Residential Treatment Center is expanding its program capabilities and facilities and is looking for dynamic, caring, energetic individuals to join our team of dedicated staff. If you are looking for a career that will be both fulfilling and rewarding working with at-risk youth, please review the following career opportunity.

As a result of program growth, El Pueblo has several positions available.

The majority of the positions fall in the areas of Direct Care Staff, working directly with the children in their living quarters, and Paraprofessionals, assisting with the children’s educations in the on-site facility school.

Direct Care Staff positions average 40+ hours per week on either afternoon or graveyard shifts. Qualified candidates will have at least 60 college credits or 1-year full time experience working with at-risk youth.

Paraprofessionals assist in presenting curriculum in the classroom and support the learning of the students during a 7:00am to 4:00om schedule. Qualified candidates must hold a 4-year degree in a relevant field and gain a substitute-teaching license.

Additional positions will also be available. All positions include excellent compensation and great benefits packages including paid holidays, vacations, health/dental/vision coverage, free meals and more.

All job candidates must be able to pass a drug-screening test and a background check, and should possess a clean driving record.

For more information, please contact Elizabeth Palacios at 719.404.1123. You may also visit El Pueblo’s website at www.elpueblokids.org for additional information about Pueblo’s premier adolescent treatment facility.
