Purpose

The El Pueblo’s GED Preparation classes are designed to help individuals enhance their reading, math, writing, social studies, science, and the arts, and other skills necessary to pass the GED examination and are tailored to the individual's level of readiness.

Population Served

· Boys or girls who are at least 17 years old and who are not on track to earn their high school diploma.

Admission Criteria

The following criteria must be met for the GED Preparation classes:

· Students must be in residence at El Pueblo for the duration of the classes.

· Students must pay the costs for the GED Assessment Test, GED Prep Class & Lab Fees, and the GED test.
