El Pueblo teachers are dedicated to teaching students relative to their learning level to ensure optimum educational growth.  Teachers plan curriculum, maintain education records, and communicate progress reports with students and therapists.

 

Work with a private, non-profit organization with a small student to teacher ratio and gain skills in individualized learning plans and differentiation methods.  El Pueblo’s school is an approved eligible facility by CDE offering regular and Special Education services.

 

Direct Care Staff

 

Provides guidance in behavior choices by teaching social, self-help, academic, and living skills. Observes and documents resident behaviors, intervenes as necessary to mitigate negative behaviors and shape positive behaviors. Previous positive experience working with developmentally disabled and/or at-risk teens. Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Must be at least 21 years old and meet required state standards.

 

Milieu Staff

 

Works under the direct supervision of the Milieu Treatment Director assisting in all aspects of the residential programs in the cottages and other assigned areas. Supervises and guides staff in implementing our performance program. This is a salary, exempt position and will work a rotating schedule to include milieu shifts as well as day shifts in the our on site school.

Requires Bachelors degree in the social services field, or relevant supervisory experience with a minimum of three years’ related experience working with adolescents.
