~ PROGRAMS ~

El Pueblo...an Adolescent Treatment Community is announcing the expansion of it’s continuum of care with a new Community to Community Program, which positions the organization as a true community-based resource for serving at-risk adolescents and their families in Colorado. The new program offers a wealth of treatment options, which can be pieced together and customized for each child and his or her family. In addition, Community to Community professionals are on hand to provide transitional assistance and wraparound care, thereby offering the best possible treatment program for creating healthy families.

Community to Community utilizes high fidelity wrap around services based on the research of Vroon Vandenberg. Each of the program’s numerous components plays a vital role in helping to create strong families. The program’s treatment options focus on: Day Treatment, Foster Care, Family Preservation, Family Reunification, Life Skills, Education, Therapeutic Services, Vocational Training, Social Support and Integrated Contacts.

El Pueblo strongly believes that the care of a child doesn’t end with his or her discharge from a residential setting. The Community to Community philosophy is dedicated to following the child back into the home to assist with stabilization, life skills and domestic responsibilities.

The Community to Community model also allows children from nearby communities to receive short term stabilization at El Pueblo, focusing on educational and therapeutic interventions for the children and their families without formal out of home placements.

Community to Community - A full service support program utilizing high fidelity wrap around services based on the research of Vroon Vandenberg (Number of services dependant on individual needs)

Day Treatment - An outpatient form of rehabilitation treatment offered to addicted individuals who need to establish a pattern of recovery in their lives.

Weekend Truancy - An outpatient form of rehabilitation treatment offered to students with persistent, chronic nonattendance problems with additional support tools for student's families.
